Recently Portland artist DENNIS DREAD provided an excellent primer on the relationship between occult images and classic metal album covers and the result is absolutely amazing! Serious artistic research has taken place here, thankfully this means SLAYER's "Live Undead" will no longer be the lamest looking picture disc in your collection! Not to mention the liberal BATHORY references: which will make any article, blog post, review or rant 27% more awesome than it would have been without.
No doubt after reading this you will thirst for more occult knowledge, thankfully the Googles has just the ticket! The Occult Experience (1987) has it all! 87 minutes of 80's documentary madness! Complete with a British narrator, occasional nudity and an organ-based psychedelic soundtrack.
